Overview:
**Responsibilities**:
An overview of duties includes:

- Design and produce various materials for digital and print campaigns
- Work in collaboration with other senior designers or art directors
- Ensure projects are completed within deadlines or service level agreements (SLAs)
- Ensure that all designs are on brand with excellent attention to detail
- QA designs and outputs for errors
- Work with a wide range of media and graphic design software
- Manage multiple projects while managing competing deadlines
- Implement feedback and changes as quickly as possible
- Create designs and compositions that achieve project goal and support the Avalara
- Understand the nuances of design differences from decks coming from different Avalara stakeholders
- Develop and have a strong understanding for Avalara’s go-to-market story, our products, and how to tell that story with slides that meet business objectives

Qualifications:

- Proficiency in programs such as Adobe Suite, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, etc.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of collaboration withing Microsoft Office 365, and particularly SharePoint and OneDrive
- Excellent English - written and verbal communication skills
- Minimum of two years experience in corporate or agency graphic design
- Very strong attention to detail required
- Portfolio of work with a wide range of creative projects
- Time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independent of, and asynchronously with other international designers
- Strong knowledge of layouts, design and graphic fundamentals, typography, print, and web
- Experience with both print and digital media
