Skeps, a blockchain-based tech company, offers the first microservices platform embedding financial solutions into customer journeys. Our innovative multi-lender POS financing solution simplifies lending for high-value purchases, integrating seamlessly into merchant websites, stores, and omnichannel checkouts, reducing purchase friction and boosting lifetime value. Currently, we are on the lookout for an SDET who brings experience designing, developing and supporting frameworks for our test infrastructure and providing automation expertise and someone who is ready to think beyond and is ready to take on bigger responsibilities.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Cucumber, Selenium/Playwright, and other relevant tools.
- Implement API testing frameworks using SuperAgent/Axios/Http and other relevant NodeJS libraries.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and design comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Execute automated tests and analyse results to ensure the quality of the software.
- Identify, document, and track software defects to closure.
- Develop and execute performance and load-testing scripts.
- Contribute to continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins.
- Maintain and enhance the existing test automation framework.
- Utilize basic Docker commands for container management and testing.
- Work in a Linux environment to perform test-related tasks.
- Ensure test coverage and improve test efficiency.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality.

**Knowledge, Skills & Experience**:

- Proven experience in automation testing using Cucumber.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium and/or Playwright for UI testing.
- Experience with API testing using Super Agent/Axios/Http and other relevant NodeJS libraries.
- Proficient in JavaScript for test script development.
- Basic knowledge of Docker for containerized testing environments.
- Familiarity with Linux commands and environment.
- Experience with Jenkins for CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience with other testing tools and frameworks is a plus.
- Knowledge of performance and load testing tools.
- Understanding of version control systems like Git.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Have the drive to become an expert in:

- Unit testing
- Integration Testing
- Performance/Stress/Scalability Testing
- Automated Browser Testing
- Visual Regression Testing
- User Testing
- Security Penetration Testing
- Knowledge of Containers - Docker, Cloud Platforms - Amazon Web Services (AWS) (Good to have - Google Cloud, Digital Ocean)
- Experience with Linux-based infrastructures (Ubuntu)
- Basic understanding of networking Concepts - Firewalls, Ports, VPC, VPNs etc
