**Role Overview**
The Nursery Teacher will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children. This role combines teaching, caregiving, and child development responsibilities, ensuring that each child’s day is structured, happy, and productive.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Early Learning**: Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that encourage language development, basic numeracy, motor skills, and creativity.
- **Daily Care**: Supervise children throughout the day, ensuring their physical and emotional safety during meals, rest time, playtime, and transitions.
- **Behaviour & Social Skills**: Foster kindness, cooperation, and good manners through structured routines and positive reinforcement.
- **Individual Attention**: Observe and record each child’s progress, noting strengths, areas of improvement, and any concerns to share with parents.
- **Health & Safety**: Maintain a clean, organised classroom, follow hygiene protocols, and be alert to potential hazards.
- **Parent Communication**: Provide daily or weekly updates to parents on their child’s activities, achievements, and well-being.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with assistants, other teachers, and the daycare manager to ensure smooth daily operations.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Previous experience in a preschool, daycare, or nursery setting preferred.
- Warm, patient, and empathetic personality with strong communication skills.
- Good organisational skills and ability to manage small groups of children.
- Commitment to punctuality, reliability, and professional integrity.

**Work Hours & Benefits**
- **Hours**: 8:30 am - 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday
