Perform as Lead HVAC Systems Designer, Expertise with the Design of “Airports & Hangar Maintenance shops, Metro Rails & Maintenance Depots, Convention and Exhibition Halls, IT Parks, Tall Buildings, Datacentre, Hospitals & Stadium design” based on Globally / Nationally accepted Codes and Standards.
- Should have worked on Heat Load calculation through HAP Software.
- Should have Design knowledge of High side and low side HVAC systems.
- D etermines the size of HVAC ducting, and preparation of ducting layout and conducts friction loss calculation of duct work.
- Determines the size of water and chilled water piping, preparation of piping layout and conduct pump head calculations for the chilled water piping.
- Establish Systems for Bill of Materials / Quantity Take Off for Tender and operating projects.
- Perform all MEP design activities and coordinate with Architect, Structure, ELV systems, Public Heath, Piping, Fire Fighting and HVAC Engineering to ensure quality compliance in accordance with client & owner expectations in most economical manner.
- Responsible for review and check the vendor drawings for various equipment’s like Chiller, Pumps, Cooling Towers etc., and further low side items like Piping, ducting, Air distribution products etc., and Subcontractor shop drawings.
- Reviews of suppliers documents and liaise with suppliers for technical inputs and inquiries.
- Responsible for Inspecting HVAC Equipment’s in Factory & Site.
- Responsible for obtaining all approvals from Stack holders - Clients, Client representative, Consultant, Approval authorities.
- Visiting project sites for verifying and resolving all design related issues with sites.
- Should be well versed with all software’s and use various digital tools.
- Should be able to Coordinate and Manage with Client/External Agencies and sub-contractors.
- Must possess excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Properly plan and schedule the activities of the Department in its need to deliver timely engineering design services.
- Keep abreast of the latest design software and evaluate its efficiency to the department and the organization.
- Suggests plans and programs that strive to boost the effectiveness of the department.
- Conduct periodic meetings with subordinates to ensure that priorities are clear and actions are running smoothly.
- Understand control system layout and sequence of operation, equipment schedules.
- Prepares periodic reports with respect to the Division's/ Department's activities and achievements to be submitted to the Managers.

**Work Experience**:

- Work Experience must be minimum 5 years in the above job description.

**Education Qualification (First class)**:

- Graduate BE or B. Tech / Post Graduate ME or M. Tech in Mechanical Stream.
- Thermal Engineering and Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineering Qualification will be an added advantage.
