**Job Context & Major Challenges**:
Job Context: UltraTech Cement Ltd. is the largest manufacturer of grey cement, Ready Mix Concrete (RMC) and white cement in India. The company has consolidated capacity of 116.75 Million Tons Per Annum (MTPA)* of grey cement. UltraTech Cement has 23 integrated plants, 1 clinkerisation plant, 26 grinding units and 7 bulk terminals.
Hirmi Cement works (HCW) was established in 1994 by L&T and later on UltraTech Cement took over it from L&T cement in the year of 2004. It is located at village Hirmi of Baloda Bazar District, under the state of Chhattisgarh. This unit was started with 5500 TPD in 1994 and upgraded to a total production capacity of 8200 TPD with in-house modification and Kaizen only, which is an excellent example of asset utilization, continual improvement and Unit culture towards Systematic improvement and innovation. This unit caters to the eastern markets of the country.

It is having Lime stone Mines, with reserves lasting up to more than 40 years. The Cement plant is also equipped with Captive Thermal Power Plant of capacity 50 MW, WHRS of 15 MW (Waste Heat Recovery System, Solar Power Plant of 6MW. Hirmi Cement has opted for the Best World Class Technology equipment right from its inception.

- Accountability:Plant availability : Plan, supervise & co-ordinate all the Mechanical operational and maintenance activities of Packing plant of line I,clinker loading system to maximize the plant availability.

Cost control :Monitor & control cost of all the maintenance activities of Packing Plant of Line-1 and Clinker loading, section as per budget in order to optimize maintenance cost.

- Environment & Safety: Monitor & carryout all the activities required to maintain good house keeping and safety standards of sections. Modifications / Upgradation:Identify and carryout various modifications/changes required for improvement in plant working on continuous basis in the section.
