We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Academic Counsellor to join our educational institution's support team. The Student Counsellor will play a crucial role in providing guidance and support to students facing personal, academic, and social challenges. As a Student Counsellor, you will work closely with students to help them overcome obstacles and reach their full potential.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide one-on-one counselling sessions to students dealing with academic or personal issues.
- Offer guidance and support to help students set and achieve their academic and career goals.
- Conduct assessments to identify students' needs and develop personalized counselling plans.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to create a supportive network for students.
- Stay updated educational trends to provide the best counselling services.
- Maintain confidential records of counselling sessions and adhere to ethical guidelines.

**Requirements**:

- Degree in counselling, or a related field.
- Proven experience in educational counselling is preferred.
- Strong communication and active listening skills.
- Empathy, patience, and a non-judgmental approach to student issues.
- Knowledge of various counselling techniques.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups of students, staff, and parents.

**Salary**: ₹150,000.00 - ₹250,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Day shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Ernakulam, Kerala: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Education**:

- Bachelor's (preferred)

**Experience**:
