Ambulance Driver

**Summary**:
The Ambulance Driver is responsible for safely transporting patients to and from medical facilities in a timely manner, ensuring the vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and stocked with necessary equipment. This role works closely with paramedics, emergency medical technicians (EMTs), and healthcare professionals to support emergency and non-emergency patient transport.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Drive the ambulance safely and efficiently to and from emergency scenes and medical facilities.
- Assist medical personnel with the loading and unloading of patients.
- Ensure the ambulance is clean, sanitized, and fully stocked with medical supplies and equipment.
- Perform routine checks on the vehicle to ensure proper functioning, including fuel, oil, tire pressure, and emergency equipment.
- Navigate using maps or GPS systems to reach destinations quickly and accurately.
- Maintain accurate records of transport times, patient information, and mileage.
- Adhere to traffic laws and safety regulations at all times, especially when driving under emergency conditions.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, medical staff, and other emergency personnel.
- Provide basic assistance to patients when needed, such as lifting or transferring.
- Remain calm and professional in high-pressure and emergency situations.

**Key Skills and Qualifications**:

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Certification in Emergency Vehicle Operations (EVOC) or equivalent (varies by region).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification (preferred or required by some employers).
- Knowledge of local geography and road systems.
- Ability to remain composed and focused in emergency situations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physically fit and able to lift or carry patients as needed.
- Experience driving emergency vehicles or working in healthcare transport is a plus.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 72 per week
