The Internal Auditor 3 is responsible for the examination and evaluation of the adequacy and effectiveness of the company's governance risk management process and system of internal controls.**What you will be doing**:

- Conduct complex analyses with mínimal oversight from team members
- Evaluate the reliability and integrity of financial and operating information based upon industry trends, authoritative literature and business objectives
- Evaluate the systems established to ensure compliance with policies, plans, procedures, laws and regulations
- Evaluate the means of safeguarding assets including verifying the existence of such assets
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of risk management systems
- Provide support to external auditors, including performing walk-throughs and tests of controls
- Maintain key relationships with line of business managers, internal partners and external auditors
- Provide advisory services related to governance, risk management and internal controls; create process maps and recommend process improvements
- Provide revenue recognition guidance, support and training to cross-functional organizations including Sales, Professional Services, Accounting/Finance and Legal
- Compose internal documentation that details processes and findings
- Identify and improve internal efficiencies
- Provide guidance to other team members

**What will make you successful**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Experience as an Internal Auditor
- Experience with GAAP, financial statements and internal controls
- Strong oral and written communications skills that demonstrate a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with others with discretion and tact
- Highly organized and experienced at successfully multi-tasking
- Demonstrated ability to operate at the highest level of integrity, professionalism, and forthrightness
- Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Strong collaborative skills, applied successfully within team as well as with other areas
- Demonstrated ability to articulate complex topics both verbally and in writing to diverse audiences
- Detail oriented; regularly verifies all work thoroughly and efficiently to ensure accuracy
- Or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the principal duties of the job
- Up to 10% travel time required
