Pharmacist

Dispense medications accurately and efficiently according to prescriptions.
- Maintain accurate records of patient consultations, medication dispensed, and inventory management.
- Provide expert advice on medication usage, side effects, and potential interactions to patients.
- While receiving a delivery at the Pharmacy, verify that the products match the order, and that the quantities are correct.
- Responsible to enter the above-mentioned details in the computer database.
- During receipt of goods check the materials for any damage. Handle hazardous materials appropriately
- Proper labeling of the racks.
- Monitor the inventory to prevent expiry or deterioration.
- Checking expiry and ensure proper temperature conditions for them.
- Responsible to maintain an issue registers.
- Responsible for physical verification and management of stock in the Department.

**Education**
- Bachelor or a Diploma of Pharmacy (B Pharm or D Pharm) degree.
- Registration with the State Pharmacy Council Board.

**Work Experience -** Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role in any Hospital or similar setting.
