As a bartender, you will be responsible for creating an enjoyable and memorable experience for our guests by preparing high-quality beverages, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area. **Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks in accordance with standard recipes
- Take beverage orders from customers or wait staff and serve drinks as requested
- Engage with customers, make recommendations, and answer questions about menu items, wines, spirits, and other beverages
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations, including proper handling of glassware and sanitation
- Maintain an organized and stocked bar area, including stocking beer, wine, spirits, mixers, and other supplies
- Keep track of tabs, process payments, and handle cash and card transactions accurately
- Check identification to verify age requirements for alcohol purchase
- Assist in managing bar inventory, including tracking usage, restocking supplies, and notifying management of shortages
- Maintain knowledge of bar menu offerings and promotions
- Monitor patrons’ consumption to ensure responsible alcohol service

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience as a bartender or similar role preferred
- Extensive knowledge of mixology, spirits, beer, wine, and garnishes
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in cash handling and point-of-sale (POS) systems
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift heavy items for extended periods
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol

**Skills and Competencies**:

- Customer service-oriented with a friendly, positive attitude
- Attention to detail and ability to handle fast-paced shifts
- Ability to make recommendations based on guests' preferences
- Basic math skills for cash handling
- Knowledge of responsible alcohol service practices and applicable state regulations
