Architectural Designer

An Architectural Designer is a professional who works closely with architects, engineers, and clients to design and develop architectural projects. They are involved in all stages of design, from conceptualization through to the final construction documentation. Architectural Designers focus on creating innovative, functional, and aesthetically appealing designs while ensuring compliance with building codes, zoning laws, and client specifications. They work across a variety of project types, including residential, commercial, and institutional buildings.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Conceptual Design Development**:

- Collaborate with architects and clients to conceptualize design ideas based on project requirements, client preferences, and site conditions.
- Prepare initial sketches, layouts, and design proposals that reflect client vision, sustainability goals, and project constraints.
- Create and present design concepts and ideas to clients for feedback and approval.
- **Design Documentation & Drafting**:

- Produce detailed drawings and 3D models of building layouts, floor plans, elevations, and sections using design software (AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, SketchUp, etc.).
- Develop accurate architectural plans, construction drawings, and specifications that adhere to building codes and local regulations.
- Ensure designs incorporate functionality, safety, and aesthetic appeal.
- **Building Codes & Regulatory Compliance**:

- Stay updated on local building codes, zoning laws, accessibility standards, and other regulatory requirements.
- Ensure that all designs meet compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Coordinate with engineers and other specialists to integrate structural, mechanical, and electrical systems into the overall design.
- **Collaboration & Coordination**:

- Work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and other team members to ensure design concepts are practical and achievable.
- Participate in project meetings and discussions to ensure the project is on track in terms of design quality, budget, and schedule.
- Assist in resolving any design issues that arise during construction.
- **Client Communication & Presentations**:

- Communicate regularly with clients to gather input, provide design updates, and address any concerns or changes in the project scope.
- Prepare and present visual presentations, including digital renderings, models, and drawings, to help clients visualize design ideas.
- **Sustainable Design**:

- Integrate sustainable design practices and environmentally friendly materials where possible.
- Incorporate energy-efficient solutions, such as passive design strategies, renewable energy systems, and green building certifications (LEED, etc.).
- **Project Management & Budgeting**:

- Assist in managing project timelines, deliverables, and budgets.
- Help track project costs and resources to ensure that designs remain within budget while maintaining quality standards.
- **Construction Support**:

- Provide support during the construction phase by answering design-related questions, making design adjustments, and reviewing work on-site.
- Conduct site visits to ensure construction follows the approved design and meets required standards.
- Address any discrepancies between design and construction, working with contractors to implement changes as needed.
- **Experience**:

- Proven experience working as an architectural designer or in a similar role.
- Experience with various types of architectural projects (residential, commercial, industrial, etc.) is a plus.
- Familiarity with architectural design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Knowledge of sustainable design practices and green building certifications.
- **Skills**:

- Proficiency in architectural design software (AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, SketchUp, etc.).
- Strong understanding of architectural design principles, materials, and construction techniques.
- Ability to create detailed drawings, 3D models, and renderings.
- Knowledge of local building codes, zoning laws, and regulations.
- Strong project management, time-management, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills to present designs and collaborate with clients, contractors, and team members.
- Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
