**Key Roles and Responsibilities** **We are currently hiring a Network Administrator to join our team and be responsible for maintaining and** **supporting our networks across MedGenome offices. You will act as the focal point for handling technical** **escalations and will assist the Technical/Delivery Manager in maintaining SLA adherence and meet CSAT goals,** **Expert level skills in implementation and administration of Local & Wide Area Networks (VLANs, VPNs) and** **Network Products - Routers, Switches, Firewalls, Load Balancers, Voice Gateways, Unified Communication** **Devices; strong knowledge of static/dynamic routing protocols, transports (Internet/MPLS/VPLS) is expected,** **can perform requirements gathering & design.** **Skill set**: - **Good knowledge on Firewalls - Fortinet / Palo Alto / CISCO/ Sophos. L2/L3 Switches, Routers, and** **other network equipment / software** - **Monitoring, configuring, and maintaining existing networks and making upgrades where required.** **Good understanding of Network security, performance fine tuning and network reliability etc.** - **Network planning and adopting appropriate network protection solutions**: - **Ensuring network security & connectivity**: - **Monitor network to ensure optimal performance (availability, utilization, throughput, goodput, and** **latency) and test for weaknesses** - **Liaising with third party vendors**: - **Troubleshooting network issues or outages**: - **Good knowledge and experience on DNS systems and DNS delegation and Failover, Experience on IDS** **and IPS.** - **Working experience on L2/L3 switches (Cisco, HP, Dell, etc.)**: - **Good knowledge on VLAN, NAT concepts, SDWAN etc.**: - **Basic knowledge on network hacking and hacking prevention mechanisms.**: - **Providing technical support to end users**: **Desired experience and expertise**: - **Fundamental knowledge of networking concepts**: - **Proven network engineering, network operations, and network performance analysis skills**: - **Hands-on technical troubleshooting capabilities**: - **Ability to work independently under mínimal supervision**: - **Knowledge of computing infrastructures**: - **Familiarity with server management and monitoring tools**: - **Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving ability**: - **Proficiency with scripting languages**: - **Strong interpersonal skills to assist non-technical individuals with complex technical issues**: - **B.E/B-Tech - Graduates with 6+ years of relevant experience in network maintenance.**: - **CISSP, CCNA, or CCNP certification a plus** **You will also be expected to have**: - **Excellent communication, written and presentation skills**: - **"Roll-up-your-sleeves" entrepreneurial, start-up attitude**: - **The ability to work across teams and functions effectively** ***: **About Company****: Skillety is a gig-economy startup crowdsourcing platform.
