Roles and Responsibilities of VTL Setter

Prepare and set up vertical turning lathes (VTLs) for accurate and efficient machining operations, ensuring adherence to production standards and quality requirements.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Machine Setup
- Install and adjust tools, chucks, and fixtures according to job specifications.
- Verify alignment and ensure components are securely positioned.

2. Support Operations
- Assist operators in loading materials and initiating machine cycles.
- Guide adjustments to optimize production output and maintain quality.

3. Quality Assurance
- Conduct initial inspections to confirm setup accuracy.
- Make necessary adjustments to meet product specifications.

4. Maintenance and Reporting
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to keep machines in optimal condition.
- Document setup details and production data accurately.

**Requirements**:

- Skills Proficient in machine setup, mechanical aptitude, and attention to detail.
- Communication Ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
