**JOB SUMMARY**:
As a Software Quality Engineer (SQE), you will test product software for our Online store. You will be responsible for performing functional and non-functional testing of products, and ensuring high quality delivery of these products to Cytel’s customers.

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Study requirements and software design carefully.
- Understand the testing strategy and create test cases as per the strategy.
- Learn to perform automated testing using the appropriate automation tool and scripting language.
- Learn and follow Cytel’s processes applicable to your work.
- Estimate and plan your own work.
- Work in an Agile Scrum team collaborating with Subject Matter Experts, developers, etc.
- Master relevant software testing practices, tools, and technologies.
- Comply with relevant company policies.
- Participate actively in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint demos, and retrospectives.Familiarize yourself with Cytel’s values and competencies and incorporate in your work.

- Knowledge of TestRail tool
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
- Strong logical aptitude and analytical skills.
- Self-driven with the ability to think creatively and solve complex problems.
- Basic knowledge of different types of testing based on your role in the project - functional, non-functional, manual, automated, etc.Collaborative mindset.

**Optional skills**:

- Knowledge of tools like Postman, Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence.
- Knowledge of scripting languages like JavaScript, or Drupal.
- Knowledge of a variety of architectures like client server, microservices, etc.
- Certified by ISTQB, CAST, CSTE (or similar).
