**Job Summary**:
The Patient Counselor provides emotional support, education, and guidance to patients and their families. They help individuals understand and manage their diagnoses, navigate the healthcare system, and adhere to treatment plans. The counselor plays a vital role in improving the overall patient experience and outcomes through compassionate, patient-centered care.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Offer individual or group counseling to patients dealing with chronic illness, trauma, stress, or life-altering diagnoses.
- Educate patients and families about treatment plans, medications, and available healthcare resources.
- Assist in developing coping strategies to manage psychological and emotional challenges.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support holistic patient care.
- Refer patients to appropriate community resources and support groups when needed.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust counseling approaches accordingly.
- Participate in case conferences and care planning meetings.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field.
- Valid certification or licensure as required by local regulations.
- Prior experience in a healthcare or counseling setting preferred.
- Strong communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
- Empathy, patience, and the ability to handle sensitive situations with care.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹35,254.71 per month
