We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of **Data Steward**

**Principal responsibilities**
- This role will report into the Senior Manager Data Delivery, DAO Group Functions based in India, this role is responsible for delivery of data for the Group Functions, supporting a number of Regulatory activities
- Working closely with the Senior Manager Data Delivery, DAO Group Functions to ensure that prioritized use cases are built to agreed data requirements, impact tested and delivered for the end user
- Responsible for producing Data Analysis within the agreed framework and complete Impact Assessment Analysis to deliver the data assets
- Shape the development and enhancements of the various data platforms and refineries, with the objective of ensuring that data is consumed from trusted sources
- Support the data provisioning via strategic data platforms
- Work closely with internal team members, process owners and external stakeholders (e.g. data engineers) to successfully deliver the respective data assets to data consumers across the functions
Requirements- Postgraduate/Graduate with 10-12 years of experience Finance Professional who has dealt with Liquidity Reporting, Financial Reporting and/or Regulatory reporting obligations and regulations in the Banking industry/ Finance environment.
- Strong relevant work experience involving data part of reporting, Finance system support, Change Delivery on any of this area I.e., Liquidity, IRRBB, RWA, FINREP as well as knowledge of HSBC data landscape is highly desirable.
- Good understanding of banking operations and processes, preferably in Risk, Compliance and Finance.
- Exposure to Accounting, Reporting, Financial Systems Support, Project Management any of the area is required.
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment with strong management, decision-making, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills including the ability to listen to and influence stakeholders at all levels, and to build consensus among a wide range of internal and external customers with conflicting priorities.
- Knowledge of working in GCP / SDI, FOTC, Bigdata-Pentaho, FTP is an advantage.
- Understanding Finance systems like FotC, FTP, complex data flows, the regulatory (Liquidity, RWA) Reporting, business, and accounting requirements
- Experience with using project/collaboration tools such as JIRA, SharePoint, and Confluence.
- Technical skills in analytical languages such as Python, R, SQL, SAS will be advantageous.
