- Monitor and manage chronic health conditions such as asthma, allergies, diabetes, and epilepsy in students.
- Keep accurate records of student health issues, treatments, and follow-ups.
- **Health Education**:
- Provide students, staff, and parents with health education, including wellness programs, disease prevention, hygiene, and healthy habits.
- Educate students on personal health, safety, nutrition, and sexual health when appropriate.
- Promote mental and emotional health awareness.
- **Emergency Response & Crisis Management**:
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies during school hours and manage emergencies appropriately.
- Administer CPR and first aid as necessary.
- **Health Records and Documentation**:
- Maintain up-to-date and confidential student health records, including immunization status and medical history.
- Provide documentation of all medical incidents, treatments, and referrals.
- Ensure compliance with school, local, and state regulations for medical records management.
- **Infection Control**:
- Monitor and manage contagious diseases and outbreaks, following school policy and public health guidelines.
- Ensure proper sanitation and cleanliness in the school to reduce the spread of illness.
- Promote the use of hygiene practices such as handwashing, vaccinations, and safe food handling.
- **Other Duties**:
- Participate in school-wide health and safety planning, including emergency drills and health protocols.
- Maintain an organized, well-stocked health office.
- Stay current with first aid, CPR certifications, and other relevant health education.
**Qualifications**:
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid nursing license in [State/Country].
- Previous nursing experience, with preference given to those with experience in school nursing, pediatric care, or public health.
- Knowledge of child development, childhood illnesses, and basic emergency care.
- Current CPR and First Aid certifications.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively with students, parents, and school staff.
- Compassionate and patient, with the ability to handle stressful situations calmly.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
