Merchandiser

**JOB TITLE**: Merchandiser

**MAJOR DUTIES**
- Planning product ranges and preparing sales and stock plans in conjunction with buyers.
- Liaising with buyers and vendors.
- Maintaining a comprehensive library of appropriate data.
- Forecasting profits and sales, and optimizing the sales volume and profitability of designated product areas.
- Controlling stock levels based on buyers demand.
- Using special computer software, for example to handle sales statistics, producing sales projections, and present spreadsheets and graphs.
- Analyzing every aspect of bestsellers (for example colors, styles and prices).
- Gathering information on buyer’s reactions to products.
- Analyzing on previous year’s sales and providing data to improve sales strategy.
- Accompanying buyers on visits to vendors to appreciate products process or examine production process.
- Meeting with vendors and managing timescales, delivery date, paperwork, and samples. and samples.
- Identifying production and supply difficulties and dealing with any problems or delays as they arise.

**SKILLS & ABILITIES**:

- Ability to communicate with others in effective and concise manner.
- Possess strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Good time management skills and the ability to prioritize projects, and process multiple tasks.
- Capable of developing clear and up-to date procedural documentation.

**QUALIFICATION**:

- College degree in Business management or marketing

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
