Become a part of Spotlight’s first response team by implementing the 24/7 crisis helpline, as well as the emotional support chat services. Spotlight is a non profit support service for abuse victims all over India. We make sure you benefit from the experience of working with a non-profit service.

**It is highly important to note that as Spotlight is a non-profit service, and the role offered is of voluntary nature, there will be no monetary compensation.**

**The role is also fully remote. Extensive free training will be provided.**

The First Response Volunteer at Spotlight will be responsible for:

- Providing the 24/7 crisis helpline for abuse victims.
- Being the first point of contact for the victims at Spotlight.
- Providing the emotional support chat services for abuse victims.
- Contribute to monthly team meetings and liaise regularly with the Volunteer Managers, as well as Service Manager.
- Adhering to Spotlight's policies and procedures.

Minimum requirements:

- Enrolled in an undergraduate psychology/social work course
- Effective communication skills
- Compassion and respect for abuse victims
- Able to undergo extensive training, which has been reviewed by experts from the UK and India.
