**Responsibilities**
- Provide guidance and support to Application Developers
- Assist with schema design, code review, SQL query tuning
- Install, tune, implement and upgrade DBMS installations
- Write and deploy SQL patches
- Process works accurately and in a timely manner
- Proactively and regularly make recommendations for system improvements
- Collate, prepare, and present statistical information for internal and external use

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related information technology field
- **3- 8 years of experience **with programming languages such **MySQL, **PL/SQL coding**:

- **3 years **of experience in administering, managing, and tuning databases
- **3 years **of experience with **Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL**:

- Easily design and implement a business process into functional and efficient code
- As a database administrator (DBA) should have knowledge and experience in performance tuning, integrity, and security of a database
- Designing the database architecture.
- Designing the format and structure of objects present in the database.
- Good understanding of data and schema standards and concepts
- Good understand database design, implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance
- **Expertise in SQL**:

- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
