**About the Role**

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Team Leadership**: Take on a leadership role within the data science team, guiding junior members and ensuring project success.
- **Problem Solving**: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business problems and formulate data-driven solutions.
- **Data Analysis**: Collect, clean, and analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- **Model Development**: Design, develop, and implement statistical models, machine learning algorithms, and predictive systems.
- **ETL & Data Pipelines**: Be well-versed in the **ETL process** to build and maintain data pipelines for efficient data flow.
- **Data Visualization**: Utilize **Tableau Prep, Desktop, and Server** to create compelling data visualizations and interactive dashboards.
- **Communication**: Present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences, telling a clear and compelling story with data.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with data engineers, software developers, product managers, and business analysts.

**Required Qualifications**
- **Education**: Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- **Experience**:2-5 years** of professional experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar role, with a proven track record of team leadership.

**Technical Skills**:

- Strong proficiency in **SQL** for data querying and manipulation.
- Strong proficiency in **Python** and its data science libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn).
- Proven experience with the **ETL process** and building data pipelines.
- **Data Visualization**: In-depth knowledge of and hands-on experience with the **Tableau suite, including Tableau Prep, Desktop, and Server**.
- **Machine Learning**: Deep knowledge of machine learning concepts and algorithms (e.g., regression, classification, clustering, time series analysis).
- **Statistical Analysis**: Strong foundation in statistical concepts, including hypothesis testing, experimental design, and predictive modeling.

**Preferred Skills & Experience**:

- Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their data science services.
- Knowledge of MLOps tools and practices (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, MLflow, Airflow).
- **Experience with Large Language Models (LLM) and Natural Language Processing (NLP).**:

- Proven experience in a team leadership or mentorship role.
