**Job Title**:
Production Supervisor - Manufacturing Automation & Special Purpose Welding Machines

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Production Planning & Supervision**:

- Oversee day-to-day manufacturing activities, ensuring production schedules are met.
- Allocate resources efficiently to meet production targets and optimize workflow.
- Monitor production processes and resolve issues to minimize downtime.
- **Team Leadership**:

- Lead and manage a team of operators, technicians, and support staff.
- Provide training and mentorship to improve team performance and technical skills.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and promote a culture of accountability.
- **Quality Assurance**:

- Ensure products meet quality standards and customer specifications.
- Implement and enforce quality control measures and troubleshoot production defects.
- Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- **Safety Compliance**:

- Maintain a safe working environment and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Conduct regular safety audits and enforce best practices to reduce risks.
- **Technical Support**:

- Collaborate with the engineering team to address technical challenges in automation and welding systems.
- Provide input on machine designs and enhancements based on production feedback.
- **Continuous Improvement**:

- Identify opportunities to improve production efficiency and reduce costs.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other methodologies to streamline processes.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- **Educational Background**:

- Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- Certification in production management or Lean Manufacturing is a plus.
- **Experience**:

- 3+ years of experience in a production supervisory role within manufacturing automation, special-purpose machines, or welding equipment.
- **Technical Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, automation systems, and welding technology.
- Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and production plans.
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and production software.
- **Soft Skills**:

- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

**Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)**:

- Adherence to production schedules and deadlines.
- Reduction in machine downtime and production defects.
- Improvement in team efficiency and output quality.
- Compliance with safety standards and reduction in workplace incidents.
