**Job Title**:Junior Obstetrician (OB/GYN)**

**Job Summary**:
We are looking for a highly motivated **Junior Obstetrician** (Fresh Graduate) to join our Obstetrics and Gynecology team. As a fresher, you will work closely with experienced obstetricians and gynecologists, gaining hands-on experience in prenatal, labor, and postpartum care. You will also assist in gynecological exams, diagnostic procedures, and the treatment of various women's health conditions. This is an excellent opportunity to build foundational skills in obstetrics and gynecology while contributing to patient care in a supportive environment.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Assist in Prenatal Care**:
- Assist in monitoring the health of pregnant women, including checking vital signs and performing basic diagnostic tests.
- Learn to conduct routine prenatal examinations, including ultrasounds and blood tests, under supervision.
- Educate patients about pregnancy care, nutrition, and lifestyle adjustments.
- **Support in Labor and Delivery**:
- Assist senior obstetricians during labor and delivery, including monitoring fetal heart rate and maternal health.
- Observe and support vaginal deliveries and Cesarean sections (C-sections), under supervision.
- Help manage post-delivery care, assisting with immediate newborn care and ensuring maternal recovery.
- **Postpartum Care**:
- Assist in postpartum checkups for new mothers, focusing on physical recovery and emotional well-being.
- Learn to counsel patients on breastfeeding, family planning, and managing common postpartum complications.
- **Gynecological Care**:
- Observe and assist in routine gynecological exams and diagnostic procedures.
- Assist in identifying and managing common gynecological issues such as menstrual disorders, infections, and hormonal imbalances.
- **Patient Education and Counseling**:
- Provide basic counseling to patients on topics like reproductive health, contraception, and preventive care.
- Assist in educating patients on labor and delivery procedures, postnatal care, and overall women’s health.
- **Clinical Documentation**:
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient visits, treatments, and medical history under supervision.
- Assist in ensuring proper documentation for all procedures and medical interventions.
- **Multidisciplinary Collaboration**:
- Work alongside nurses, midwives, and other healthcare professionals in the obstetrics and gynecology department to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in team discussions and patient rounds to enhance learning and patient outcomes.
**Qualifications**:
- **Education**:
- MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
- Fresh graduate with an interest in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Completed clinical rotations in obstetrics and gynecology during medical school.
- **Skills**:
- Basic understanding of obstetrics, gynecology, and general medical practices.
- Strong communication skills with a compassionate approach to patient care.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and learn from senior professionals.
- Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks in a clinical setting.
