Rotary Technician

JD for Rotary Technician:
1. QUALIFICATION, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRMENTS
- ITI (Mill wright fitter/ fitter tread) or Diploma mechanical with Minimum 2 to 4 years of experience in Rotary equipment maintenance of refinery/petrochemicals/fertilizer plants.

Preference - RIL site/ or relevant refinery meeting above criteria.

Age Limit:
Minimum 21 years old to 45 years old

TRADE SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE:

- Should be able to read & understand the Rotary equipment GA & cross-sectional drawing with bill of material.
- Knowledge & experience of using various types of precision measuring instruments like Vernier calipers, micrometer, bore gauge depth gauge, slip gauge, master level, inside/outside calipers.
- Knowledge of various types of bearings, dimension checks/clearance, visual inspection & skill for its removal & installation.
- Knowledge of various type of belts, visual inspection, belt tension and skill to remove/installation/alignment.
- Knowledge & skill for opening/box-up of flanges with proper gasket & torqueing. Able to mark & cut the required size gasket from sheet as & when required.
- Knowledge & skill of DBSE and alignment with RIM & Face OR Laser. Also, should have skill to diagnose & correct soft foot, Centring. Able to check the level of base plate.
- Knowledge of lifting tools & safe rigging practices for Rotary & Able to mark, punch, drill, tap & use of FF2 as per requirement. Must have knowledge of fits & tolerance & able to make & fit keys.
- Knowledge of various types of lubrication and best practices.
- Knowledge of various types of valves/gear box with overhauling.
- Knowledge & skill for single/multi stage CF pumps, Rotary & reciprocating pumps, fin-fans, blowers, all types of compressors, gear boxes, single & multi stages turbines overhauling as per SMP with all check points/hold points.
