Cloudera Administrator

Role Summary
We are looking for two Cloudera Administrators Senior and Junior to manage maintain and administer the Cloudera platform ensuring optimal performance secure configuration and end to end platform health including Kafka producer consumer setup and management
Key Responsibilities
Administer and maintain all components of Cloudera clusters CDH CDP
Perform cluster upgrades patching performance tuning and capacity planning.
Configure monitor and troubleshoot services like HDFS Hive Impala HBase Spark YARN and Oozie
Set up and manage security configurations including Kerberos authentication and Ranger access control policies
Administer Kafka ecosystem including
Kafka broker Zookeeper producer and consumer configurations
Manage Kafka topics partitions and replication factors
Monitor Kafka performance lags and optimize producer consumer setups
Ensure high availability and disaster recovery readiness for Cloudera and Kafka environments
Automate administrative tasks via scripts ShellPython
Work closely with Engineering DevOps and Security teams for platform enhancements and troubleshooting
Senior Cloudera Administrator
6+ years of Hadoop Cloudera administration experience
Deep hands-on experience with Cloudera Manager CDHCDP platform management and services optimization
Advanced skills in Kafka producer consumer configuration tuning and troubleshooting
Strong background in security setup using Kerberos and Ranger
Expertise in Linux system administration and scripting
Familiarity with monitoring tools Cloudera Manager Grafana Prometheus
