QA Supervisor

Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:

- **Quantity Surveying and Measurement**: Conduct detailed quantity analysis based on engineering drawings and specifications. Produce accurate quantity take-offs for construction and manufacturing projects.
- **Cost Estimation and Budgeting**: Assist in preparing cost estimates and budgets based on the measured quantities. Support project managers in controlling costs and identifying potential cost overruns.
- **Data Management and Reporting**: Compile and analyze quantity-related data for projects, ensuring that all information is up-to-date and accessible. Prepare periodic reports on quantities, material usage, and project progress.
- **Material Tracking and Procurement**: Monitor and track material usage and requirements based on quantity analysis. Collaborate with procurement teams to ensure materials are ordered and delivered according to project needs.
- **Quality Assurance**: Ensure that all quantity data is accurate and in compliance with company standards and industry regulations. Perform quality checks on measurement methods and results.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with project managers, estimators, architects, and other engineers to provide the necessary data to support decision-making and project execution.
- **Cost Control**: Assist in identifying opportunities for cost savings based on detailed quantity analysis. Highlight discrepancies or variations from initial estimates and recommend corrective actions.
- **Technology and Software Utilization**: Use specialized software tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, BIM software) to manage and analyze quantities. Maintain proficiency in the latest industry software to improve accuracy and efficiency in quantity analysis.

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree /Diploma in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience (1+ years) in quantity surveying, cost estimating, or a similar role within the construction, engineering, or manufacturing industries.
- Proficiency in using quantity takeoff software and engineering tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, MS Excel, or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of construction materials, methods, and cost estimation practices.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to quantity measurement and reporting.

Preferred Skills:

- Strong analytical skills with an ability to interpret complex drawings and specifications.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Work Environment:

- Office-based with occasional site visits for data collection and inspections.

Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month
