Job Role:
Primary responsibility will be to work in line with a systematic solution that fits best across the technical, operational, and management standards. This individual will have to deal with the difficulties in the given system by handling all the issues by implementing the strategies that are in line with the DevOps best practices.

This role is to provide operational support for the Azure Cloud environments. This would be both in the areas of day-to-day break/fix activities and the deployment of new installations and solutions.

The position requires excellent teaming and communication skills as you will work within a global organization and with all levels of technical experience. You will provide support and daily operations and will work with people from numerous global locations, and cultures. A keen aptitude for all technologies is a must.

Key areas of Responsibility

The team is required to meet documented Service Level Agreements as well as defined Server Availability metrics. This is a 7x24x365 support organization. Major responsibilities will be to:

- Diagnose technical and operational software problems on installed systems.
- Implement and manage Azure services such as Virtual Machines, Entra ID, Azure Networking, Azure Storage, Azure Security, Azure Identity, Azure MFA/SSO/SAML/RBAC/CAP
- Diagnose and solve environmental problems, working with our vendors as applicable.
- Plan and/or schedule installations of new server hardware and associated supporting peripherals.
- Monitor, track, and compare system performance using software-based testing, monitoring, and analysis tools.
- Present verbal and written technical information to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Provide input and technical content and regularly review procedural documentation
- Ability to work to defined objectives and meet planned dates.
- Ability to work constructively and cooperatively within the team and across the organization.
- Ability to convey oral/written information appropriately and persuasively.
- Ability to review data and identify problem trends, then translate the solutions into current practices.
- Respond to system alerts and can reprioritize frequently depending on circumstances.

Ideal Technical & Professional Skills:

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or equivalent education.
- Experience in Azure
- Azure Admin certified preferred but not essential.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in the following
- Databricks - Optional
- Azure - Preferred
- Tableau Admin - Must
- Informatica Admin - Optional
- PowerBI Admin
- Must
- Azure DevOps - Preferred
- Python - Preferred.
- SQL - Preferred
- DB Admin - Good to have
- Knowledge and experience in scripting and automation tools, such as PowerShell, Azure CLI, and Azure DevOps
- Experience in Azure Resource Manager templates or Terraform
- Knowledge and experience in system monitoring and management tools, such as Azure Monitor.
