**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Health & Safety Compliance**:

- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal health and safety regulations (e.g., OSHA)
- Monitor workplace conditions to ensure adherence to safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of health and safety inspections, incidents, and corrective actions.
- **Risk Assessment & Hazard Identification**:

- Conduct regular risk assessments and identify potential hazards within the manufacturing plant.
- Propose and implement mitigation strategies to address risks associated with machinery, chemicals, and operational procedures.
- **Safety Training**:

- Organize and conduct regular safety training and workshops for staff.
- Ensure employees are educated about workplace hazards and best practices for handling chemicals and machinery safely.
- Provide first aid and emergency response training.
- **Accident Investigation & Reporting**:

- Investigate accidents or near-miss incidents and document findings.
- Implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence of incidents.
- Prepare and submit incident reports as required by regulatory bodies.
- **Environmental Health & Safety (EHS)**:

- Oversee waste disposal, chemical handling, and other environmental safety measures in accordance with environmental laws.
- Ensure proper storage, labelling, and disposal of hazardous materials in the facility.
- **Monitoring & Audits**:

- Perform internal audits to assess the effectiveness of the health and safety management system.
- Regularly inspect equipment and machinery by coordinating QC & Maintenance team to ensure they meet safety standards.
- **Emergency Preparedness**:

- Develop and maintain emergency procedures for situations like fire, chemical spills, or natural disasters.
- Conduct emergency drills and ensure preparedness for any potential crisis.
- **Health & Safety Reporting**:

- Regularly report on health and safety performance to management.
- Analyze safety data and make recommendations for improving safety policies and procedures.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- **Education**: Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field (preferred).
- **Certification**: NEBOSH or OSHA certification is an advantage.
- **Experience**:Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in health and safety management in a manufacturing environment, preferably in cosmetics or similar industries.
- **Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of risk assessment, hazard control, and emergency preparedness.
- Ability to conduct training and communicate safety procedures clearly.
- Familiarity with Health & Safety software and tools for reporting and audits.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to enforce safety measures effectively.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
