Job Description: Accounts Assistant

Position: Accounts Assistant

Location: Senthampalayam,5 kms from KMCH Kovilpalayam

Reporting to: MD

Role Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
1. Accounts Maintenance:

- Record, maintain, and reconcile financial transactions in accounting software.
- Prepare and process invoices, receipts, payments, and vouchers.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable.

2. Banking Activities:

- Assist in bank reconciliations and ensure timely processing of payments.
- Monitor and maintain cash flow records.

3. Taxation and Compliance:

- Assist with GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance.
- Prepare and submit necessary reports and returns under guidance.

4. Financial Reporting:

- Support in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Assist in budget preparation and variance analysis.

5. Documentation and Filing:

- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper filing of documents.
- Handle audits and provide necessary documentation when required.

6. Other Duties:

- Support the Accounts Manager in ad hoc tasks and projects.
- Liaise with vendors, clients, and banks as required.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or similar tools).
- Basic understanding of GST, TDS, and other financial regulations.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities.

**Experience**:

- 1-3 years of experience in a similar role is preferred, but freshers with strong skills may also apply.
