Fashion Merchandiser

**About the Brand**:
We are an upcoming fashion design house, operating in the luxury accessories space in a sustainable manner. Currently, we are a small team of smart and creative people who are as passionate about the greater good as they are about their work. We believe in creating innovative and distinctive products that add a panache to our customers lifestyle. The brand is a DTC consumer brand with an omnichannel sales and marketing approach. We are based out of Mumbai and our products are distributed across PAN India.

**Key Responsibilities**:
1. Formulating a product assortment plan based on brand vision, current trends, business needs and profitability drivers

2. Conduct Market and competitor's analysis in terms of product and pricing positioning in the target markets; develop the merchandising grid

3. Liaising with the Design team in the study of new collections, searching for new themes, materials, and colours for the upcoming seasons

4. Creating, maintaining, updating, and reporting the master data sheet of collection, product costing sheets, bill of materials files, trim cards, material requirement files etc.

5. Fostering and maintaining 3rd party vendor accounts & factory accounts

6. Participate in sales campaigns and produce all supporting materials and buying tools including but not limited to KPIs, photos and samples, catalogues, product style codes, exit lists

7. Develop training manuals and presentations with detailed product briefs for buying and sales team

8. Developing a plan and schedule [weekly & monthly] for the in-house sample development team and production team

9. Help in coordinating the alignment of all the categories in terms of activities and product development.

10. Develop sales analysis (weekly and monthly) by product category, providing feedback on possible actions;
11. Constantly be updated on the fashion business and market, perform regular research through websites, fashion shows, market feedback, vendor visits and market visits.

12. Organzing shoots and assisting with creating the looks for the shoots

**Job Requirements**
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Fashion Designing, Fashion Management, business administration, or related Supply Chain fields
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience
- Experience in e-commerce environment with hands-on knowledge of e-commerce processes and procedures
- Adept in using of Excel and analytics tools to monitor performances and KPIs
- Great passion for fashion and sound knowledge of the current market and consumer trends
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, ability to problem solving and to manage multiple tasks
- Availability to travel
- Luxury fashion experience preferred but not required

**Salary**: ₹18,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
