Purpose of the Role

More Retail is looking for a passionate and experienced Product designer to join our product team. As an Associate Product Designer at More Retail, you will be responsible for creating intuitive, user-centered designs for our web and mobile products. You will collaborate closely with our product managers and engineers to create high-quality user experiences that delight our customers.

Principal Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for creating and managing the user experience for our products with a user centered design process.
- You will also be responsible for shaping ideas to requirements and also be required to drive the product development process and launch.
- You will be working with a design system and will be responsible for creating and maintaining detailed design components, extensive guidelines and accurate specs for the system.
- You’ll be working with our engineers to help implement designs to guide and provide feedback on the visual implementation.
- You will be responsible for conducting user research and managing user feedback.
- You will be responsible for conducting user testing to measure the usability of our products and improve on the same.
- You will be responsible for tracking, analyzing and reporting on product KPIs and success metrics. They will work closely with the product leads to identify areas of improvement and make recommendations on how to optimize the product.

Education and Experience

We are looking for someone with 0-3 years of experience in the field of Product Design/Interaction Design/UI Design with a Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or a related field who can empathize & solve user problems with design, and can take the responsibility of ideating a product to execution.

Functional Competencies
- Demonstrated experience with detail-oriented human-centered design approaches
- Demonstrates strong visual and interaction design skills
- Proficiency in adjacent skills such as information architecture, user research, UX writing, and prototyping
- Experience in data-driven design
- Proficient in Figma, Adobe XD, Framer, or similar product design and prototyping tools
- Experienced in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator or similar compositing and vector tools
- Knowledge with Adobe After Effects to create dynamic motion design for products is a plus
- Preliminary experience with HTML, CSS, React or other similar front-end development technologies is a bonus but not mandatory
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to articulate and convey design ideas
