**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate closely with the senior analyst to conduct comprehensive research on companies and industries.
- Develop and maintain detailed financial models for various companies and utilize industry data to create sector databases.
- Analyse annual reports, financial filings, trade publications, and other relevant sources to collect, synthesize, and interpret data effectively.
- Prepare well-structured reports on companies and industries, including investment recommendations.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest market, company, and industry developments, while also conducting channel checks, company visits, and attending industry conferences.
- Contribute to existing coverage and participate in the initiation of research on new companies.
- Engage in effective communication with internal sales teams, institutional clients, and company management.
- Complete other assigned tasks and duties as required.

**Job Requirements**:

- A strong academic background, preferably focused on accounting, finance, or economics, is preferred.
- Relevant experience in equity research (front or back end), consulting, or any other finance role is highly desirable, especially with a focus on pharma industry
- Proficiency in financial modelling and a demonstration of strong analytical and financial skills are essential.
- The ability to handle multiple tasks with great attention to detail is crucial, as the associate position involves demanding and fast-paced work that requires quick thinking and independent problem-solving.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are required.
