
Assistant/associate Professor Physics

**Responsibilities**:Teaching**
- Deliver lectures, tutorials, and practicals in Physics for undergraduate and/or postgraduate engineering programs.
- Develop course materials, including syllabi, lecture notes, assignments, and exams, in accordance with program objectives.
- Conduct lab sessions, supervise experiments, and ensure proper usage of lab equipment.
- Mentor and guide students in academic and research-related activities, including projects and thesis work.
**Research**
- Engage in high-quality research in Physics or interdisciplinary fields relevant to engineering.
- Publish research findings in reputed journals and present at conferences.
- Collaborate with colleagues and industry partners on research and development projects.
- Seek research funding through grant proposals to national and international agencies.
**Academic Administration**
- Assist in curriculum development and accreditation processes for Physics-related courses.
- Participate in departmental activities, including meetings, workshops, and faculty development programs.
- Contribute to institutional development through committees, outreach programs, or other initiatives.
**Student Support**
- Provide academic advising and career guidance to students.
- Organize co-curricular activities, such as seminars, webinars, or student clubs.
**Other Duties**
- Stay updated with advancements in Physics and engineering education.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Head of Department or Dean.
**Qualifications**:Assistant Professor**
- **Education**: Master’s degree in Physics with NET/SLET/SET qualification, or Ph.D. in Physics.
**Associate Professor**
- **Education**: Ph.D. in Physics or a related field.
- **Experience**: Minimum 5 years of teaching and/or research experience, including at least 3 years at the level of Assistant Professor or equivalent.
- **Research**: Proven record of publications in reputed journals and experience in guiding Ph.D. students or equivalent research guidance.
- **Skills**: Leadership in academic and research activities, ability to manage projects, and excellent mentorship capabilities.
**Preferred Attributes**:
- Specialization in fields like applied Physics, computational Physics, nanotechnology, quantum mechanics, or other emerging areas relevant to engineering.
- Experience with industry collaborations or consultancy projects.
- Familiarity with accreditation processes like NAAC, NBA, or ABET.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹56,728.28 per month
