- Perform spectrochemical analysis (such as using Optical Emission Spectroscopy (OES) or X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF)) to determine the elements present in metal alloys.
- Analyze samples of molten metal, ingots, or finished products to ensure they meet customer and industry specifications.
- Operate spectrometers and other laboratory equipment for precise analysis of metals and alloys.
- Interpret data from spectrometric tests, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
- Prepare samples for spectroscopic analysis, including preparing the metal samples by grinding, polishing, or cutting.
- Monitor production processes to ensure materials meet quality standards.
- Review and document test results to confirm compliance with specifications.
- Provide recommendations for process improvements or corrective actions based on lab results.
- Maintain detailed records of test results, calibration procedures, and analysis protocols.
- Prepare reports for internal teams or customers outlining the findings of material tests.
- Ensure all lab activities comply with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Calibrate spectroscopic instruments and perform routine maintenance to ensure their optimal functioning.
- Troubleshoot any issues with spectrometers or other analytical equipment.
- Work closely with production and engineering teams to provide insights into material performance and suggest improvements.
- Communicate test results to engineers and quality control teams to ensure proper action is taken.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
