**Job Title**: Business Development Manager - Powertrain Department
**Location**: Cherlapally
**Reports to**: Head of Business Development / Powertrain Division Lead
**Experience Level**: Minimum 4-6 years
**Educational Qualification**: B.Tech in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering or relevant field, MBA preferred
**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- ∙ **Market Research & Strategy**:
- Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, potential clients, and new business opportunities in the powertrain sector.
- ∙ **Business Development**:
Develop and execute strategies to drive business growth and establish long-term partnerships with OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and other stakeholders in the automotive supply chain.
- ∙ **Client Relationship Management**:
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective clients, ensuring a deep understanding of their needs and aligning our offerings to meet them.Lead sales initiatives, develop proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals with key partners to meet or exceed revenue targets for the powertrain department.Work closely with the engineering and R&D teams to ensure alignment between business objectives and product development. Provide input on product features and enhancements based on customer feedback.Manage the end-to-end business development process, from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring timely delivery of projects and post-sales support.Regularly report on key performance indicators (KPIs), sales forecasts, and business development progress to senior management.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:
- ∙ **Technical Knowledge**:
- In-depth understanding of powertrain systems, including engines, transmission systems, electric drivetrains, and hybrid powertrains.
- ∙ **Experience**:
Minimum 4-6 years of experience in business development, sales, or related roles within the automotive/powertrain sector.
- ∙ **Educational Background**:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automotive Engineering. An MBA is a plus.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.Strong market analysis skills, with the ability to identify trends, assess competition, and create actionable business strategies.Proven experience in negotiating contracts and closing business deals with significant impact on revenue.Ability to work cross-functionally with technical, marketing, and operations teams to align business goals and product offerings.

Commensurate with experience and aligned with industry standards.

Pay: ₹292,740.77 - ₹1,474,894.16 per year
