Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, machinery, and equipment used in plywood manufacturing processes.

Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues to minimize downtime and ensure uninterrupted production.

Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of electrical systems to ensure safety and efficiency.

Collaborate with the maintenance and production teams to optimize equipment performance.

Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company standards, and local electrical codes.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and electrical system updates.

Assist in the installation of new equipment and upgrades to existing systems.

Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls.

**Qualifications**:
Education: ITI/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as an electrician in a manufacturing company (plywood or related industry preferred).

Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and wiring in industrial setups.

Proficiency in using electrical testing and diagnostic tools.

Familiarity with PLC systems and industrial automation is an advantage.

Soft Skills:
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Work Environment

The role requires working in an industrial setting with exposure to machinery, noise, and other manufacturing conditions.

May involve standing for long periods, lifting heavy equipment, and working in high or confined spaces.

FERO DOOR, Inkel City, Malappuram, Kerala.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
