**Job Description - Project Coordinator**
**About the Role**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Coordinate and monitor day-to-day project activities to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and site teams to track project progress.Plan, manage, and oversee material handling operations including procurement, logistics, and inventory management.
- Maintain documentation of project schedules, budgets, resources, and compliance requirements.
- Assist in vendor coordination, negotiation, and material dispatch planning.
- Identify potential risks and delays in material handling and propose corrective actions.
- Prepare regular project status reports for management and stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and quality compliance throughout project execution.
**Key Skills & Competencies**:
- Strong knowledge of material handling systems, equipment, and processes.
- Excellent coordination, planning, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder and vendor management.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint);
knowledge of project management software is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving ability with attention to detail.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Mechanical / Civil / Industrial / Production Engineering or related field.
- 4-5 years of experience in project coordination within heavy machinery, construction, or engineering industries with a focus on material handling.
