We are currently recruiting for long term career professionals, with an initial assignment supporting Telecommunications projects across the UK. Bechtel has been selected as a Delivery Partner on a £4 Billion programme to bring high speed internet connectivity to communities. The core focus is to deploy next generation fibre infrastructure across the public sector, businesses, mobile operators, and homes. These projects are key to improving connectivity for millions of people and boosting economic productivity in the long-term.

**Team Overview**

The Build Partner Performance (SWAT) Team will be deployed to cities to support the Build Partners. The range of activities for each city will vary but are likely to include supporting schedule development and management, assisting mobilising, assisting schedule implementation, and helping in contract management.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Reviews and supports development of BP’s project plans to meet productivity targets safely and right first time.
- Supports reviews of BPs’ activities and provides guidance on sequencing and recommendation on prioritisation.
- Provides guidance and coaching on what good looks and supports rollout of CityFibre initiatives.
- Helps identify blockers to schedule performance and provides guidance on resolution.
- Helps establish and develop working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Shares best practise with the Build Partner.

**Qualifications/Experience**
- Recognised degree in an engineering or scientific discipline, or specialized courses in construction management.
- Demonstrated ability to work with diverse teams in challenging environments.
- Demonstrated flexibility to respond to urgent project requests and/or changing priorities.
- Knowledge of phases of construction operations relating to SHEQ, engineering, construction and field activities.
- Thorough knowledge of construction technologies, logistics and jobsite management.
- Thorough knowledge of directing, planning and scheduling
- A full driving licence valid in the UK - You will be required to frequently to various sites throughout England.
