We are looking for a dynamic and self-motivated Copy Editor join our editorial team.

Edit, clean, draft and publish copies which have been filed by authors. This would include scanning for spelling and grammar errors; simplifying complicated sentences/paragraphs; drafting the article on the Content Management System; choosing an appropriate image; publishing the article; and sharing the article on social media.
- Ensuring correct tone, voice, clarity, flow and structure of content
- Ensure that articles uploaded on the website are error-free and easy-to-read.
- Ensure articles have appropriate and catchy headlines, and social media posts are catchy without sounding outrageous or unnecessarily provocative.
- Compile and update style guides as required
- Ability to manage multiple projects and consistently meet deadlines
- Willing to write articles if required

**Qualifications**
- Proven work experience as a Copy Editor or similar role (2 to 3 years)
- Graduation or education in a related discipline
- Expert-level knowledge of English grammar and spellings
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Word Press and MS Office

**Salary**: ₹12,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Kolkata, West Bengal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Total work: 1 year (preferred)
