**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Instruction & Curriculum Delivery**:

- Teach English language and literacy skills to primary school students, in alignment with the curriculum.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that incorporate diverse teaching methods and cater to various learning styles.
- Teach reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills, ensuring students develop proficiency in all aspects of language.
- **Assessment & Feedback**:

- Conduct regular assessments to track student progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide constructive feedback to students to encourage their growth and development in English.
- Maintain accurate records of students' performance and progress.
- **Classroom Management**:

- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively and foster a positive atmosphere for learning.
- Support students in developing social and communication skills.
- **Collaboration**:

- Work closely with other teachers to integrate cross-curricular learning opportunities.
- Collaborate with parents to share student progress and address any concerns.
- Participate in school meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development sessions.
- **Extracurricular Activities**:

- Organize and participate in school activities related to English, such as book clubs, writing competitions, or drama performances.
- Encourage students to explore their creativity and develop a passion for reading and writing outside of the classroom.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field (required).
- Teaching certification or license in Primary Education (preferred).
- **Experience**:

- Previous teaching experience in a primary school setting, particularly in English or language arts (preferred).
- Experience in differentiated instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
- **Skills & Competencies**:

- Strong communication skills (both oral and written).
- Excellent classroom management and organizational skills.
- Ability to create a positive, inclusive, and motivating classroom environment.
- Proficient in using technology to support learning.
- Passionate about fostering a love of language and literature in students.
