Responsibilities:

- Conduct patient assessments to determine appropriate medication therapy
- Provide critical care and medication management in various healthcare settings
- Deliver exceptional patient service by addressing medication-related concerns and providing counseling on proper usage and potential side effects
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients, especially in pediatrics and acute care settings
- Manage pain effectively through acute pain management techniques and long-term pain management strategies
- Administer medications accurately and safely, adhering to established protocols and guidelines
- Maintain accurate records of medication orders, dispensing, and patient information
- Stay updated on the latest medical advancements, pharmaceutical products, and regulatory changes

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited institution
- Valid pharmacist license in the state of practice
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
- Experience in acute care settings preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, healthcare professionals, and pharmacy staff
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
