This position is part of the ePowertrain department in the BMS & High Voltage (HV) Battery systems team, Responsibilities of this role consists of Battery management system understanding and validation of BMS functionalities on LV or HV HIL. This is an emerging, exciting technology, and the right person will help invent the future of transportation in the industry.

This engineer will be developing Test specifications, test scripts and validating innovative & intelligent BMS functions focused on reliability safety by collaborating with global business units.

Role Expectations:

- Good understanding of High voltage Battery Management System functions and Diagnostics for e-Trucks and Buses
- HIL Test Planning, Analysis of Requirements, Test case writing and reporting
- Responsible for validation of BMS functions on mini HIL or HV HIL
- Working experience on CANoe, CANape and dSpace racks
- Responsible for Test script creation, issue analysis, creating report and documentation
- Experience in HiL set-up - Protocols for Flashing the ECU, Flashing the SW on to ECU, Configuring Plant Model in the HiL System, Connecting ECU to HIL
- Responsible for adhering to software validation process
- Responsible for creating any automations for manual activities in the validation process would be an advantage
- Participation in the currently on going and well-established activities on the development of test specifications and validation
- Responsible for organizing meetings and handle technical discussions on own with counterpart for BMS functions
- Good exposure to configuration management tools like Provetech, Jira, GIT and requirement management tools like DOORS Next
