**Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with clients to understand their design preferences, functional needs, and budget constraints.
- Develop interior design concepts that align with client requirements, incorporating innovative furniture solutions to optimize space utilization and aesthetics.
- Create detailed furniture layouts, mood boards, and 3D renderings to present design proposals effectively.
- Source furniture pieces from various vendors, considering factors such as style, quality, price, and lead times.
- Prepare comprehensive material and finish specifications for furniture selections, ensuring alignment with overall design concepts and project requirements.
- Stay updated on emerging trends, materials, and technologies in the furniture industry, integrating new ideas into design projects where applicable.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of interior design plans, including furniture installation and placement.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including design drawings, specifications, and correspondence, to facilitate project tracking and communication.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in interior design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proven experience of 3+ years working as an Interior Designer, with a focus on furniture design and selection.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and rendering tools.
- Strong knowledge of furniture styles, materials, construction techniques, and vendors.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and requirements effectively to clients and team members.
- Creative problem-solving abilities and a demonstrated ability to think innovatively to overcome design challenges.
- Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality design solutions within project constraints.
- Portfolio showcasing previous interior design projects, with a focus on furniture design and selection.
- Experience working with sustainable and eco-friendly furniture materials and practices.
- Experience in project management, including budgeting, scheduling, and client relationship management.
