Monday - Friday, 3PM - 11PM EST (12.30am to 8.30am IST)
Must be able to work rotating weekends and holidays
This is a full-time position that can be performed from a remote location.

Position Summary:
Offline Captioners create closed captioning for prerecorded programs, while ensuring clarity, readability, and accuracy.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The scope of work may include, but is not limited to, the following:
Listen to program audio and produce captions using captioning software and equipment, including a standard keyboard, headphones, and foot pedals;
Position captions on screen to indicate speaker changes, while avoiding graphics, logos, and copyrights;
Establish precise timing of captions to appear and disappear in synchronization with audio and video changes in programs;
Conduct research, as necessary, using the internet or other available resources to ensure content accuracy of all captions;
Individually audit content to correct inaccuracies before deadline;
Adhere to established workflow, and procedures;
Ensure that client standards are met;
Attend departmental meetings as directed;
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in English, Communications, or related field preferred;
1-2 years editing, proofreading, or other similar experience preferred;
Broad knowledge of English language, grammar, and punctuation;
Strong attention to detail;
Ability to work well under pressure in a deadline-driven environment;
Capable of accepting and implementing constructive feedback on programs;
Must successfully pass proficiency tests.

**Salary**: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
