Name of the intern position: Intern Communication
Duration: 3 - 6 months Location: Bangalore
**What would the intern learn from the role proposed during the internship**:
- The intern will be able to understand marketing materials specific to philanthropy activities.
- The intern will also have exposure to designing marketing materials like brochures, pitch slides, tracking sheets, case and success stories, videos, etc
- Exposure to social media platforms, strategy to promote programs in social media, scheduling post in social media, providing visibility to products and programs in social media, etc.
- Exposure to the website, its updation, and website page promotion on different platforms.
- Insights to IEEE and functioning of volunteering organization
**Role**:
- The intern will be engaged in the following roles guided by IEEE India Philanthropy Manager Finalization of the marketing materials of IIP and its program.
- The marketing materials include a brochure, pitch deck, tracking sheet, case stories, success stories, videos, etc.
- Visibility to IIP on social media platforms (like Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter, Instagram, Youtube, etc) and other platforms provide visibility to IIP.
- Finalization and continuous update of IIP page
**Education background and Skills**:On the verge of completion of Graduation of Post graduation and is willing to intern with a not-for-profit entity exclusively for communication and visibility of IEEE India Philanthropy activities. Good written and communication skills in English. Hindi and Kannada will be an added advantage, but optional. Basic understanding of marketing and visibility to the products and services offered by philanthropic organizations
