Ui/ux Faculty

Responsibilities:
Teaching:

- Design and deliver engaging courses related to UX/UI design principles, methodologies, and tools.
- Foster a supportive and interactive learning environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking.
- Provide constructive feedback and guidance to students on their projects and assignments.
- Stay updated with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in UX/UI design.

Curriculum Development:

- Develop and update course materials, including syllabi, lectures, assignments, and assessments, to reflect industry standards and emerging trends.
- Integrate hands-on projects and real-world case studies into the curriculum to enhance practical skills and industry readiness.
- Collaborate with other faculty members to ensure coherence and alignment across related courses within the program.

Mentorship and Advising:

- Serve as a mentor and advisor to students pursuing projects, internships, and career opportunities in UX/UI design.
- Provide guidance on portfolio development, job search strategies, and professional networking within the UX/UI industry.

Research and Scholarship:

- Engage in scholarly activities, such as conducting research, publishing papers, and presenting at conferences, related to UX/UI design.
- Explore grant opportunities and partnerships to support research initiatives and interdisciplinary collaborations.
- Contribute to the academic reputation and visibility of the institution through scholarly contributions in the field.

Industry Engagement:

- Cultivate and maintain relationships with industry professionals, organizations, and employers in the UX/UI field.
- Facilitate guest lectures, workshops, and networking events featuring industry experts and practitioners.
- Identify internship and job placement opportunities for students and assist in connecting them with relevant industry partners.

**Salary**: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month

Qualifications:

- Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in a relevant field such as Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Interaction Design, User Experience Design, or a related discipline.
- Proven professional experience in UX/UI design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in design principles, research methods, and prototyping tools.
- Previous teaching experience at the college or university level, with a demonstrated ability to engage and inspire students from diverse backgrounds.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design software such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, or equivalent tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, students, and industry partners.
