**Job Title**:Fire & Safety Officer

**Department**: Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)

**Job Summary**:
The Fire & Safety Officer is responsible for ensuring the safety of personnel, equipment, and facilities by implementing fire prevention and safety programs. The officer monitors and enforces compliance with local safety regulations and company policies to minimize risks related to fire and other safety hazards.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Ø Conduct routine fire and safety inspections of buildings, equipment, and work sites.

Ø Develop and implement fire prevention programs and emergency response procedures.

Ø Identify fire hazards and recommend corrective actions to mitigate risks.

Ø Monitor the storage and handling of hazardous materials to ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Ø Maintain and inspect fire extinguishers, alarms, hydrants, and suppression systems.

Ø Train staff in fire safety, emergency evacuation, and first-aid procedures.

Ø Lead or participate in fire drills and emergency response exercises.

Ø Prepare detailed safety inspection reports and incident investigation findings.

Ø Ensure compliance with all local, national, and international fire and safety codes.

Ø Collaborate with other departments to ensure a culture of safety is maintained.

**Qualifications & Experience**:
Ø Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Fire Safety, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.

Ø Certification in fire safety (Govermant Authorized)

Ø Experience (2-5 years +) in fire and safety management, preferably in industrial or high-risk environments.

**Skills Required**:
Ø Risk assessment and hazard identification

Ø Emergency planning and fire drill coordination

Ø Incident investigation and reporting

Ø Strong observational and problem-solving skills

Ø Knowledge of firefighting systems and equipment

Ø Familiarity with local and international safety standards

Ø Ability to respond quickly and effectively in emergency situations.

Ø Good communication and training skills.

Pay: From ₹20,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Rotational shift
