Introduction:
What will you be doing?
- Assisting Research teams with regular and adhoc tasks so that we can write differentiated content to help clients make investment decision.
- Compiling historical data in respect of stocks and companies from publicly available sources in a timely and accurate manner
- Updating and maintaining databases to track relevant financial, economic or other indicators which may be relevant to the sector and/or region under coverage
- Monitoring relevant market news and summarizing as well as assessing impact on sector or coverage universe
- Assisting with the preparation and development of research reports, industry primers and marketing presentations or any other tasks as asked by the team
- Evaluate financial documentation including annual/quarterly reports and current events, with the aim of providing fundamentally sound recommendations on stocks

What we’re looking for:

- Strong understanding of financial terms, valuations, balance sheet, fixed income basics etc.
- Proficient in building financial models
- MBA or Chartered Accountant or CFA or any other equivalent degree in any stream with 2 to 3 years of experience in research

Skills that will help you in the role:

- Worked in pool team earlier
- Excel VBA
- Knowledge of Bloomberg
- Certification in credit/bond analysis & valuation

This role is deemed as a Certified role under the PRA & UK Financial Conduct Authority - Individual Accountabilities Regulations and may require the role holder to hold mandatory regulatory qualifications or the minimum qualifications to meet internal company benchmarks.
