Your Opportunity

Your Key Responsibilities
- Produce and review design solutions from outline briefs, correctly interpret data and effectively communicate to others.
- Check design and assessment calculations and review detailed drawings.
- Work on multiple projects concurrently with limited supervision.
- Ensure delivery of project in accordance with quality, timescales, and budget.
- Produce designs, calculations, specifications and drawings to ensure that technical designs will provide appropriate solution.
- Plan, program, co-ordinate and write reports for specific projects.
- Maintain communication and develop ongoing contacts with clients as required.
- Supporting Senior Engineers in the analysis, design and calculations related to design of different highway components.
- Maintain records of all design calculations/drawings/documents.

**Qualifications**:
Your Capabilities and Credentials
- 5 to 8 years’ professional experience in the consulting and engineering industry after graduate education, technical knowledge in road design in Civil3D and/or OpenRoads and/or 12D. Infraworks/Navisworks experience is a plus.
- Good knowledge of all aspects of technical standards such as AASHTO, Austroads and/or DMRB, UK.
- Ability to take directions from senior engineers and execute them efficiently.
- Proficient in Microsoft (MS) Office Suite
- Effective communicator and able to work under tight schedule.
- Competent level of client service management, i.e.: able to interface with clients and to build and maintain lasting, positive relationships with our clients.
- Strong organizational and problem resolutions skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of staff, technical specialists.
- Travel & other job demands.

Education and Experience
- A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Master’s degree in Highway/Transportation Engineering with 5 to 8 years of experience in design and documentation of road/highway/land development projects. Experience on international projects is a must.
- Software Skills:
a. AutoCAD Civil3D and/or Open Roads and/or 12D and/or InRoads.

b. Infraworks/Navisworks experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of International Roadway Design Guides (AASHTO, DMRB, Austroads or similar).
