Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
- **Design and Drafting**:

- Create detailed AutoCAD drawings and plans for audio-video system installations, including layout of equipment, wiring, and connections.
- Develop precise floor plans, elevation drawings, and schematic diagrams.
- Ensure that all designs comply with industry standards and project specifications.
- **System Integration**:

- Collaborate with AV engineers and project managers to integrate audio and video equipment seamlessly into the design.
- Specify locations for speakers, microphones, screens, cameras, control panels, and other AV equipment.
- Plan and design wiring paths for audio, video, and power connections.
- **Acoustic Treatment Planning**:

- Incorporate acoustic treatment solutions into designs to optimize sound quality and minimize noise.
- Specify placement of acoustic panels, soundproofing materials, and other acoustic treatments.
- **Documentation and Reporting**:

- Prepare comprehensive documentation, including equipment lists, connection diagrams, and installation guides.
- Update and maintain design documents throughout the project lifecycle.
- **Quality Assurance**:

- Review and verify design accuracy, making necessary adjustments to meet project requirements.
- Ensure all drawings are complete, accurate, and compliant with company standards.
- **Collaboration and Communication**:

- Work closely with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and integration of AV systems within overall project designs.
- Provide technical support and guidance during the installation and commissioning phases.

Required Skills and Qualifications
- **Technical Expertise**:

- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant design software (e.g., Revit, SketchUp).
- Solid understanding of audio and video equipment, signal flow, and AV system integration.
- Knowledge of acoustics and experience with acoustic treatment planning.
- **Experience**:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the AV industry.
- Experience with commercial, residential, or educational AV system designs.
- **Educational Background**:

- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Electrical Engineering, AV Technology, or Architectural Design, or equivalent work experience.
- **Additional Skills**:

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot design issues.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in AutoCAD or related design software.
- Familiarity with AV standards and protocols (e.g., AVIXA, CTS certification).
- Experience with 3D modeling and rendering software.
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations related to AV installations.

Work Environment
- This position typically involves working in an office setting, with occasional site visits to assess project requirements and support installation teams.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
